You can now configure default values for any field in a process so forms open pre-populated with sensible starting values. Defaults are applied when the step loads and can be edited or cleared by the user at any time; standard validation still applies on submit.

This works across common field types (text, number, date, select, and boolean) so you can preselect options, set initial toggles, or provide baseline text where appropriate. If a user doesn’t change a default, the pre-filled value is saved as the submitted answer, ensuring downstream rules and checks receive a complete, consistent dataset without extra keystrokes.
