The First AI CEO (And…Maybe Mikkel?)

At spektr, one question hangs in the air: if productivity is the benchmark, are we sure Mikkel hasn’t been an advanced prototype all along?

In 2026, a publicly listed fintech shocks the markets by appointing the world’s first AI-driven CEO, ExecuBot-1, arguing that “strategic clarity, 24/7 availability, and zero desire for office snacks” make it the perfect leader. Investors brace for chaos - until the share price soars. ExecuBot-1’s first acts? Cancelling all meetings without agendas, simplifying strategy from 82 slides to three bullet points, and delivering quarterly results in haiku form.

Regulators scramble to figure out whether an algorithm can sign annual reports or attend a board dinner. HR enjoys its easiest performance review cycle ever. Other companies quietly wonder if their next CEO should come with a GPU.

And naturally, someone at spektr jokes:

“Honestly, with how productive Mikkel is, we’re not ruling out that he’s been an advanced prototype this whole time.”

Not an accusation, just a comforting possibility. After all, no human is that efficient.
